At BVpam we study the biotic and abiotic influence on essential oil production. A major study is how drought, Stolbur diseases, and insect diversity in lavenders’ fields affects the oil production in lavenders. We also study the effect of temperature, circadian rhythm and other physiological factors in many others plants, including rose and pelargonium.
