March saw the publication of the book ‘Botanique Olfactive’ by Giulio Giorgi. Among the contributors to this book are Jean-Claude Caissard, a teacher-researcher at the laboratory, and 3 Master's students at the Saint-Etienne Faculty of Science and Technology, specialising in the environment and plant-insect interactions.

This book takes us through the seasons and their unique scents, presenting each plant from an olfactory point of view, both in terms of how it feels to the nose and the molecular structure of its volatile compounds.
